GRILLED SALMON AND SHRIMP

IMG_2799_edited.jpg

Testing out my new grill tray out with this easy seafood recipe. Grilling seafood gets tricky because it tends to stick to the grill. But with this tray, and a little cooking spray, I avoided that challenge.

Seasoning the food is a personal choice based on what you like. You can add any seasoning or glaze you feel can enhance the salmon and the shrimp.

The shrimp cooks faster than the salmon so it needs to be flipped earlier but they each can be cooked together in the pan. The salmon takes about 8 minutes to cook on. each side. If you want the outside to be crunchier, I would cook it longer. Mine was all fully cooked with about 8 minutes on each side.

Overall, I plan on repeating this recipe throughout the summer. And possibly adding soy sauce or teriyaki my next round. As for my grill tray, I am hoping to find other recipes I can cook on it. Perhaps maybe even breakfast.
